Blue Star Mothers of America, NY Chapter One, are again creating the Light of Love tree at Kershaw Park on Lakeshore Boulevard in Canandaigua.  A visual reminder and tribute to our Hometown Heroes of the military.  Wallet sized photos placed in Blue, Silver, Gold or Black Star Ornaments will adorn the red, white and blue lighted Christmas Tree in the gazebo at the water's edge.  To have your Hero's star ready for the opening celebration on November 30, 2008 at 4:00 p.m., please send a photo, a donation of $5.00 and print your hero's name , rank, and branch of service for the labeling.  Every military service branch is included whether they are currently Active, Reserve, Guard or Veterans of years gone by; they are deserve a place of honor.  For the entire month of December Kershaw Park will be a bright shining spot to gather  your family together for a special moment to recognize Warriors serving and sacrificing during the holiday season.
