The well known actor Gary Sinise from the movie "Forrest Gump" and the TV Show "CSI" is a great supporter of our Troops. He and his entertainment group "Lt. Dan Band" gave a benefit concert and invited some of our members backstage!.

Some of our Members attended the annual National Blue Star Mother convention to share ideas and hone the methods of the organization.
We hosted a Family Day to honor and remember those who gave all in defense of our Nation.
Uno Restaurant provided their facility and their support by donating a percentage of their receipts to the Blue Star Mothers so that we may further support our Troops.
Teaming with Darling's Tree Farm, we send live Christmas Trees and a "Party in a Box" to deployed troop units to give them a sense of home.
Our Annual Light of Love Ceremony at Kershaw Park in Canandaigua honors those who served.
